We loved staying in Bedford Swan Hotel. The room was not big, though had everything in it including a small fridge, a desk, a small round table, an arm chair and a chair. The room was nice, clean and the bathroom - spotless, with a most comfortable shower. The staff were very nice and helpful thoughout the days and nights to attend any issue. The view from our room was so beautiful - the river, with swans swimming back and forth. There is a very beautiful walk through the park along the river. The hotel is centraly located and in a walking distance from markets, supermarkets, shopping centers, restaurants.

My wife and I booked the hotel for three night as we were attending a Reggae festival in Milton Keynes. First impressions, the outside of the building does not sell it very well as you wont think much of it. However, wait till you get inside,and prepare to be amazed. The hotel lobby, reception area and the furniture, its all just exquisite. Our room was really nice, clean and with a vintage theme which my wife and I really liked. I think we booked a standard room. The size could have been bigger, but considering what we paid, we cant complain. Even the bathroom had the same vintage theme, the deco, taps and florring. The bed was comfy with spotlesssly clean bedding. Nice big mirrror in the bathroom. My wife made the most of it putting her make up on. I enjoyed the shower so much it was difficult to get out the bath. Breakfast was fantastic, full english and loads of options to choose from. The dining area itself is just beautiful. It sure does feel like an upgrade from the odd budget hotels we all know. I also like the fact that you can check out as alte as 12 noon. The hotel is located in central, bedford and its barely 100 yards from the main street where all the clubs and pubs are. It also overlooks the waterYou,ve also got Nandos and McDee next door. Another think I liked was that they have secure parking and its free. I dont take free parking for granted anymore. Having staying in a few hotels before, I know parking can be an issue sometimes.

Beautifully decorated hotel. Very clean. Air conditioning was much appreciated as it was quite hot in the room. Staff were friendly & helpful. Lovely restaurant on site with a good selection of food/drinks & a cute afternoon tea spot too. Great location on the river. Parking on site which was secure. Spa is lovely!

The Bedford Swan is literally in the perfect location. On the main strip directly in the town + overlooking the canal, with such beautiful views! The staff are so lovely + accomodating. The accomodation is so gorgeous with antique furniture + art on display. I’d love to stay again if I return to Bedford + experience the spa!

Breakfast was fine apart from if you wanted a fried or poached egg you had to order it separately!! And the breakfast items probably could have been slightly more hotter but we did get there very close to the end of the breakfast time but you can almost forgive that because of the most exquisite setting for breakfast

Perfect location for enjoying the river and heading into town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean and noted staff cleaning banisters and restaurant menus whilst there. Dinner at Pen and Cob was tasty and decent portion size. Breakfast was also lovely. Spa was amazing! I went for some TLC and me-time and definitely got it. Would definitely and return.
